About

The internet is full of content of all sorts. Among the plethora of information exists a multitude on Judaism and Jewish topics as well. The Torah and its vast treasure trove of knowledge has been made more available than ever before through this powerful tool.
Due to the limitless functionality of the internet, one can write whatever they so please without a moments thought. As a result of this, much information that abounds is not necessarily properly sourced or accurate at all. Additionally, many untruths and other misconstrued ideas unfortunately land themselves a safe home in cyberspace.
At onevortaday, every idea is directly from a classical source. Further sources for further treatment of the topic or for your own research are at times provided as well. A link is many times posted to a copy of the source material itself where you can find the ideas and words posted in their original glory; you can also see the accuracy of the words posted.
As said before, Torah is vast. Many of us spend quite some time delving into it. Of the many intellectual, spiritual, philosophical, mystical, etc., etc. offerings that the Torah encompasses, not always do we manage to stumble over something that particularly fascinates us.
At onevortaday, we strive to do just that: to bring up to your palette the interesting, thought provoking, and relevant vignettes of Torah lying right there just beneath the surface. You'll be surprised to find that many of them are found in places we encounter all the time. Some are more obscure. But, they are all Torah, the Torah Hashem gave us to explore and relish.
If you have an interesting idea to share, feel free to share it with us by sending it to onevortaday@gmail.com along with a source where it can be found.
Enjoy!
